“ So I hit this place up last night! Okay, so the ribs I’d give a 5 out of 10 — they’re doable, with a fatty-meaty blend (not really my thing, but they do taste good). Now, the links are A1 — if I come back, the large link is the move. No combo needed (but try it for yourself though). Next, what stole the show was the shrimp & chicken combo plus the lobster bites! This place had the biggest shrimp, and the bites were small but packed with flavor. You can go with or without sauce. The wings also packed a great punch. I’ll most definitely be back for more bites and shrimp! ”

“ This place is counter service only, and atmosphere is very basic. But the food was very good. I biked past it while visiting the West side for Open House Chicago. I had the rib tips, collards, and Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese, rib tips were good but the collards stole the show. And the woman behind the counter was very kind and truly appreciated everyone's business. Good value, a lot of options. I'm rarely on the West side but I'd definitely go back! ”

“ Joe Willies is a secret gem! The Big Boy Bird chicken wings are the best in the city. I have been to all the popular chicken places and I'm telling you it's the best. The fries are not may favorite, but a lot of people like them. Next, that Turkey Neck Bag is my new favorite. I was surprised, the necks are meaty and seasoned to perfection. The Potatoes are very good and corn is ok. It's enough for 2 people at a very reasonable price. Just watch your surrounding and remember it's the hood service is not like a fine dining restaurant. Lower your expectations on service and atmosphere. The Food is worth it. ”

“ Finally got to try this place. It was a little busy, I ordered the Foxy Emma and Mae Frencis. Which is jumbo shrimp and fries. Was $18 but was enough to share and flavorful. The cashier Cocoa was pleasant and I witnessed her being extremely patient with an elderly customer placing an order. They also have specials throughout the week. The mild sauce was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste glad i got it on the side. ”
